Living Out Your Freedom

Galatians 5:1
1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Galatians 5:13-14
3 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

2 Corinthians 5:17
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

Devotional: Paul's command is clear: "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery."  Freedom has a calling—to live free, stay free, and walk in that freedom daily. You are a new creation; old things have passed away. But freedom isn't license to do whatever you want; it's power to become who God created you to be. Use your freedom to serve one another in love. Don't return to the guilt, bitterness, shame, or fear that once enslaved you. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. The Holy Spirit gives you power to walk right, live right, and honor the price that was paid. Today, make the choice: will you live enslaved to your past, or will you walk in the freedom of your future?

Reflection Question: What is one practical step you can take today to walk more fully in the freedom Christ has given you?
