Grace to Keep Going

2 Corinthians 12:7-10
7 . . . to keep me from becoming proud, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger from Satan to torment me and keep me from becoming proud.
8 Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. 9 Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. 10 That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Isaiah 40:28-31

28 Have you never heard? Have you never understood?  The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth.  He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding.
29 He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.
30 Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion.
31 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles.  They will run and not grow weary.  They will walk and not faint.

Devotion:  You may be standing here tired, feeling unseen or worn down. God isn't calling you to try harder—He's calling you to come closer. His grace is sufficient for you, for His power is made perfect in weakness. When you're exhausted from the grind, remember: God sees every unseen task, every quiet act of faithfulness, every prayer whispered in the night. He provides everything you need—look at the flowers, the sparrows; they're not frantic because the Father cares for them. Why would you worry? His grace meets you right in the middle of the grind. Open your heart to Him today. Receive fresh grace to keep going, grace to trust when it doesn't look good, grace to believe He's faithful even when life unfolds differently than you imagined.

Reflection: Where do you need God's grace to keep going today? Declare: "I know the Lord will provide."

Closing Prayer: Father, I thank You for Your Word. Let me always have hands that work, a heart that gives, and most importantly, a life of worship. Meet me in the grind with Your grace. In Jesus' name, Amen.
