The Legacy of a Dead Man Walking

John 12:23-26
23 Jesus replied, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. 24 Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. 25 Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. 26 Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.

2 Timothy 2:11-13
11 Here is a trustworthy saying:  If we died with him, we will also live with him;
12 if we endure, we will also reign with him.  If we disown him, he will also disown us;
13 if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.

Devotional:  Jesus illustrated His death through a grain of wheat—unless it falls and dies, it remains alone, but if it dies, it produces much fruit. Your legacy isn't measured by wealth, achievements, or how long you maintain your youth. It's measured by love in and love out, by the spiritual fruit produced through your surrender. Your children need more than provision—they need spiritual leadership from a man who prays, repents, forgives, and worships authentically. They need to see a dad who loves their mother and follows Jesus wholeheartedly. Dead men walking are hard to keep down because they've already surrendered everything. Today, commit to being that man—crucified with Christ, yet fully alive in Him, producing a harvest that outlasts your lifetime.
