Your Leap Can Set Someone Else Free
Reading: Luke 19:37-40
37 When he reached the place where the road started down the Mount of Olives, all of his followers began to shout and sing as they walked along, praising God for all the wonderful miracles they had seen.
38 “Blessings on the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven, and glory in highest heaven!”
39 But some of the Pharisees among the crowd said, “Teacher, rebuke your followers for saying things like that!”
40 He replied, “If they kept quiet, the stones along the road would burst into cheers!”
Devotional: The lame man's leap did not go unnoticed. The crowd that witnessed it was filled with awe and wonder. His transformation became a testimony that pointed others toward the power of Jesus Christ. Your joy, your praise, and your leap carry the same potential. When a believer who has genuinely been set free walks in authentic, unashamed gratitude, it does something to the people around them. It stirs faith. It creates hunger. It testifies without words that God is real and that He moves on behalf of His people. Do not let the voice of religious propriety silence what God has placed within you. The world does not need more quiet, reserved survivors. It needs people who are walking, leaping, and praising God.
