You Were Not Made For Isolation

1 Corinthians 12:27
27 All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it.

Devotional: The sermon made a striking observation: we live in the most connected era in human history, and yet loneliness is epidemic. You can have thousands of followers online and still have no one to call when your heart is breaking. This is not a technology problem. It is a community problem. God never designed the Christian life to be lived in isolation. When you disconnect from the body of Christ, you do not just miss out on fellowship — you miss out on function. Every part of the body exists to serve the whole. Your presence in community is not optional. It is necessary — for your sake and for the sake of those who need what only you can bring.

Reflection: Are there ways you have justified isolation or kept people at a comfortable distance? What fear or hurt might be driving that pattern?

Practical Application: Identify one person in your church or neighborhood you have been avoiding or simply overlooking. Make a deliberate, personal effort to reach out to them this week — not by text, but by phone or in person.
