Jesus, before His ascension, laid forth the responsibility of His disciples to go into all the world to preach the gospel to every creature. One of these great commission passages is found in Acts where Jesus tells His disciples they will be endued with supernatural power that would allow them to be witnesses of Him in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the uttermost parts of the earth. That responsibility is alive and well in the church today. If ever there was a time to be a part of the Great Commission - it's today.
