Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

Psalm 139:13-18
13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
15 You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
16 You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book.  Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.
17 How precious are your thoughts about me,[a] O God. They cannot be numbered!
18 I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand. And when I wake up, you are still with me!

Ephesians 2:10
10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

You are the apple of God's eye—literally the pupil, the most precious part of His most valuable sense. Your worth isn't determined by church attendance, prayer frequency, or giving records. Your value was proclaimed at Calvary: "You are worth My life." God did something awesome when He made you. You are His masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus for good works He prepared in advance. We live according to our perceived identity. If you see yourself as a victim, you'll live in bondage. If you see yourself as a loser, you'll never rise. But if you see yourself as God's beloved, accepted, forgiven child—fearfully and wonderfully made—you'll begin to live like it. Today, stand before a mirror and declare: "I am God's masterpiece. I am the apple of His eye. I am loved, valued, and called for a purpose." Let this truth reshape how you walk through your day.
