Faith That Moves Mountains
Mark 11:22-24
Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God. I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.
On Sunday, Pastor Jim mentioned a mother's journey from fear to faith regarding her son. This passage reminds us of the power of faith-filled prayer. What "mountains" are you facing in your life right now? It could be a difficult situation, a seemingly impossible dream, or a loved one who seems far from God. Today, bring these mountains before God in prayer. Ask Him to increase your faith and to help you see these situations through His eyes. Remember, nothing is impossible with God. As you pray, also listen for how God might be calling you to be part of the answer to your own prayers.
