Sermon- "Rest from Pressure"

Mathew 11:28-30 (NKLV) Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your soul. 30 For my yoke is easy and My bureden is light.

Mathew 11:28 (NLT) Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.

Mathew 11:28 (NLT) Then Jesus said "Come to me..."

#1- COME To JESUS

Isaiah 40:29-31 (NKJV) He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, 31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, The shall run and not be wear, They shall walk and not faint.

Mathew 11:29 (NKJV) Take My yoke upon you amd learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

#2- GIVE UP CONTROL

Proverbs 20:24 (NLT) The Lord directs our steps, so why try to understand everything along the way?

Psalm 55:22 (NLT) Give your burden to the Lord, and He will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.

Galations 5:25 (NLT) Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirits's leading in every part of our lives.

#3- LEARN TO TRUST

Mathew 11:29 (NKJV) Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you wil find rest for your souls.
